Own and responsible for the 36months’ ex-factory sales forecasting (launch and commercial products) in line with the global monthly planning process.
Build strong knowledge about the competitive landscape, policies and regulations, market and franchise strategies, product lifecycle.Responsible for 36months’ rolling ex-factory sales forecast in volume in line with the monthly operational planning process.Responsible for annual 5 years’ ex-factory sales forecast in volume during the annual business planning process.Perform regular analysis of selling patterns by leveraging statistical algorithms and advanced analytics.Validate the in-market sales forecast scenarios and assumptions based on the comprehensive understanding about the historical sales and future sales trends.Develop unbiased ex-factory demand scenarios, including bridging stock proposals to close financial forecast gaps.Ensure the monthly update on 36 months’ ex-factory sales forecast in the Global planning system (incl. PAP program, 3rd party clinical studies).Responsible for the development of the launch ex-factory sales forecast in volume.Provide key demand insights and support for the local Launch Excellence and Launch Supply Readiness teams. Own and chair the Demand Review as a part of China Sales & Operations Planning process:
Responsible for the sales value and volume forecast alignment through local S&OP platform.Lead the monthly alignment discussion across the affiliate organization to evaluate demand scenarios and assumptions and agree on the 36months’ forecast updates in the Global planning system.Communicate and share demand scenarios, assumptions, uncertainties, risks and opportunities, including the communication to the Global Supply Chain Planning Community and GPS LCT.Lead the demand impact assessment in case of supply issues.Establish and closely coordinate risk mitigation actions with the commercial teams to support write-off mitigations or supply shortage. Coordination of manual order allocation with CMA and BU in case of unsuccessful supply risk mitigation.KPI Owner of sales forecast accuracy and forecast tracking signal:Agree on the forecast accuracy measurement with the Global planning community.Creation, development and monthly processing of reports and information as a basis for discussion of the product performance.Qualifications (education/experience/knowledge/skills/competencies)
Degree in Business/Finance/Supply Chain discipline or equivalentVery good understanding of technical and commercial aspect in the pharmaceutical industry and product lifecycle.Good understanding of the end-to-end supply chain interfaces and processes.Strong sense of ownership and continuous improvement mindsetCollaborator, influencer and strategic thinker.Effective communicator with great presentation and facilitation skills.High degree of independence, resilience, self-drive and result orientation.Able to work in a complex and dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize.Very strong analytical skills and experience in scenario planning and handling reporting tools.Experience in forecasting using statistical algorithms and advanced analytics.Experience in leading matrix groups and projectsFluent in English and Mandarin spoken and written.
